This Privacy Policy explains what information Ringside (operated by Ky Ramzy, "we," "us") collects when you sign up for and use the Service, why we collect it, and what your rights are over it. It covers both you, the business customer, and the people who call your Ringside number.
When someone calls your Ringside number, we collect their caller ID (phone number), the text transcript of their conversation with your AI assistant, an AI-generated one-sentence summary of the call, and -- for calls that go to voicemail -- an audio recording of the message they left. This exists to do the one job Ringside is for: making sure you don't lose the information from a call you couldn't personally answer. Callers are told, at the start of every AI-handled call, that the call may be recorded or transcribed and that they've reached an AI assistant (see Section 2 of our Terms of Service for the full detail on California's call-recording consent law and how Ringside's disclosure works).
We do not sell your data or your callers' data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers. Your account data and your callers' call data are used only to run your account -- not pooled with, or used to build products for, other customers.
Running an AI phone assistant necessarily means parts of a call pass through a small number of specialized providers who process it on our behalf, under their own confidentiality and security commitments:
We don't share your data with anyone else, except if required by law (for example, a valid subpoena).
We keep call transcripts, summaries, and recordings for as long as your account is active, so your dashboard can show your call history. If you cancel your account, or email us to request deletion, we delete stored call transcripts, summaries, and recordings within 30 days -- except where we're required to retain billing records longer for tax or accounting purposes. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time; see Section 7 below for how.
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in plain text. All traffic to the Service runs over HTTPS. Incoming webhook requests from our telephony and billing providers are cryptographically verified (signature checks) before we act on them, and account-changing actions are protected against cross-site request forgery. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your data.
Whether or not you're a California resident, you can ask us at any time to: see what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete your account and associated call data, or export your data. Email kyrolosramzy@yahoo.com and we'll handle it directly -- there's no automated self-serve deletion tool yet, but every request is honored within 30 days. If you're a caller (not a Ringside customer) and want a call transcript or recording involving your number removed, contact us at the same address with the business you called and approximate date/time, and we'll work with that business to resolve it.
Ringside uses a single first-party session cookie to keep you logged in, and nothing else -- no third-party advertising trackers, no cross-site analytics pixels. If you enable browser push notifications, your browser creates a push subscription with your browser vendor (e.g. Google, Apple, Mozilla) to deliver them, governed by that vendor's own privacy practices.
Ringside is a business tool and isn't directed at, or knowingly used by, children under 18.
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll notify active customers by email before it takes effect.
